Director

Jen has more than 25 years’ experience in communications and corporate affairs, with people leadership and mentoring skills.

She has deep credentials in crisis and issues management, drawing on her corporate, public affairs and media background. Jen has held several roles for large government agencies and is a former broadcast journalist and producer.

Jen was more recently the External Relations Director for Rio Tinto in New Zealand, and since leaving that role worked with the Ministry for the Environment where her stakeholder engagement and consultation advice has been held up as an exemplar by the Climate Change Commission.

Senior Consultant

Andy has 20 years’ experience in communications, with a focus on issues and crisis management, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning.

He has strong relationship management skills and is experienced in advising senior leaders across the public and private sectors, including spending nine months as the Strategic Adviser to a public sector Chief Executive.

Andy was previously New Zealand’s Advisor to the International Energy Agency in Paris. He has also worked for New Zealand Trade and Enterprise and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade where he led the communications strands of several All-of-Government responses.

Consultant

Liam provides clients with strategic corporate affairs and communications advice, with a focus on reputation and government relations.

He frequently advises clients on reputation management, navigating regulatory challenges, and engaging with Parliament. His clients span a broad range of sectors, including energy, extractive industries, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and technology.

Before joining At Large, Liam worked with public and private sector clients as a management consultant and brings deep understanding of both traditional and digital media from previous roles at global media intelligence firm Isentia.

Junior Consultant

Laura joined At Large while completing her Communications, Public Relations and Marketing degree from Massey University in Wellington, where she regularly placed on the Dean’s list.

Before joining the team, Laura’s experience included time in a marketing role with a leading IT Recruitment firm and content creation in an agency setting.

Laura brings a well-grounded and client-focused perspective to our team and is laser-focused on helping the team ensure our clients are successfully navigating complex issues and opportunities.
